Recordings of Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling making racist comments to his girlfriend were released; In a symbolic show of solidarity against Sterling’s comments, Clippers athletes wore their warm-up jerseys inside out. Sterling later recieved a lifetime ban from the NBA!

Athletes wore t-shirts with “I can’t breathe” written on the front to support Eric Garner’s family. Garner died when a police officer put him in a chokehold earlier this year.
