Just a few days after America’s big holiday, another American tradition took place in Daytona Beach, Florida. The Coke Zero 400, a Nascar Sprint Cup Series Stock Car Race, looked more like a Monster Truck Rally this year; massive crashes erupted just as the winner, Jimmie Johnson, claimed victory.
One accident involving six of the race cars caused a nine-minute delay! Thankfully, all of the drivers were lucky to walk away without major injury.
Having won the Daytona 500 this past February, Johnson completes a sweep at the Daytona International Speedway – a feat that hasn’t been seen on the racing track since 1982!
